I didn't think magic existed in the world... how wrong I was. Remington Richards survived a fire nine months ago, started by her crazy ex-boyfriend of all people. Haunted by scars, inside and out, she thinks moving away is her mother's worst idea, but she agrees, not realising things have been hidden from her. The secrets start spilling out when she meets Lucas, a mysterious figure with an unpredictable attitude, but there is something about him, something that she feels drawn to. She does all she can to stay away from him, following her mother's request, but he is all she thinks about, and soon she crashes into the world of lies, wolves, and magic. Can she find the secrets she's searching for before her time runs out? Perhaps Lucas has all the answers.
