Claire O’Connor is an Irish multi-genre fiction writer. After many years of living away, she recently set up home on the rugged Southwest coast of Ireland with her partner and adored dog. When she’s not writing she’s reading, taking photos on long nature walks, or tending to her veggie garden. Since she was a little girl, she has been writing stories (including fairytale and cartoon fan fiction 🙂 ) and poetry. In 2019, Claire graduated with a BA Honours degree including Creative Writing. Since then, she has contributed short fiction to various anthologies. She enjoys writing short vignettes for fun, and published her first book, an anthology of shorts and poetry in 2020. V is for Vignettes and Verses will was relaunched last year with new work. Over The Wall is a psychological trilogy about a young woman who escapes the cult she was born into. The trilogy follows her life as she adjusts to the outside world, attempts to bring the cult leader Father Sy to justice, and finally to move on with her own life. Claire published Over The Wall in June 2023, and Into The Old, the second book in the trilogy in June 2024. She is currently working on Book 3, Godforsaken. Claire also hosts Indie Authors Ireland, a collective on Independent authors in Ireland. She is currently collating their first anthology Rewind - A Collection - Coming Soon!
